Marathi name for Chaitra Shukla Pratipada 1st day of the Hindu calendar. Also celebrated as the Marathi New Year.

MMTB celebrates “Gudi Padwa” the Marathi new year with Grandeur !!
A Gudhi Poojan is done by either new members or parents of members visiting Tampa.
On this event a program (Approx 2 hours) is planned with local talents from our community or by bringing in programs through BMM.
followed by a dinner with maharashtrian festival delicacies.

Celebrated in the second or third week of April every year!!
