Makar Sankranti

On this auspicious day the Sun makes a transition to Makar (Capricorn) Rashi from Dhanu (Sagittarius) and starts moving north (uttarayan) Makar Sankranti symbolizes a new beginning for everyone.

MMTB celebrates Sankrant with all the aspects of its cultural significance of Haldi-Kunku for the ladies and Bornaan for little kids along with appropriate competitions for the occasion.
A short program is designed in the form of marathi quiz shows, antakshari, and other games for members.
Tilgul and Tilachi poli the traditional delicacies for the occasion are served at the event dinner.
